Explanation of why use of devices and technologies listed in Section 1 are "not locally cost effective" This property is off-the-grid. We use a solar powered pump and controller to divert water and refill storage. Measured (stopwatch & container) flow of pump ranges from 1.25 to 2.0 gpm with variability due to solar availability. We time our diversions so as not to impact in-stream flows and fisheries habitat.
