Additional Remarks
Under Table 5, Maximum Rate of Diversion for each Month, are higher than 262.15 CFS under the water right. Maximum rates are flow rate data queried from the District’s SCADA system where it looks for the highest rate of diversion at any point in time during the months. Higher rates of diversion occur at time when there are operational issues such than the District main canal become partially dewater thereby increase diversion rates until the system equalizes. Higher rates of diversion also occur during pump testing where a pump will be called to start for a short period of time up to one minute. Data shown in Table 6 shows the volumetric amount diverted during the month which translates into a month average less than 262.15 CFS.
